Idiots Hall of Shame September to December 2009 Archives

That's a wrap for this bit

September Inductees
Cyclists -- For not abiding by the rules of the road and then wondering why they get hurt

Michael Ignatiff -- Federal Liberal Leader. For gambling with voters and making a mockery of Canadian Democracy

Jim Flaherty -- Federal finance minister. For endorsing controversial HST plans in Ontario & British Colombia

The UN and every other idiotic Climate activist-- For wasting our precious time and resources when they could be put to far better use. You know, actually helping their fellow human beings instead of polar bears. Stop distracting the rabble with your nonsensical rubbish.

October Inductees
Nobel Prize Committee -- For giving Obama the peace prize without him actually doing anything.

Idiots Hall of Shame: June to August

June Inductees
Us -- No, no, not the United States. I'm talking about Us, you and me. We're idiots for not putting a stop to out of control hypergovernments that have done far more harm than good.

CUPE Toronto -- Striking over 18 sick days? A classic example of greed and a culture of entitlement. They're not going to win public sympathy for this one

Canadian TV Networks -- Radio profits are way up, ad revenue is up, yet they face stiffer competition that TV does. How is it that Canadian TV is still loosing money?!

Gays -- For shamelessly perpetrating their own negative stereotypes and then wondering why so many find them so offensive.

July Inductees
Miller & McGuinty -- Banned pesticides saying they're unsafe, now telling us we must use them on garbage piles to control pests and that they're perfectly safe. Which one is it?

Bundanoon, Australia -- Town completely banned bottled water. Highly reactionary response to a non-existent issue. Also puts citizens in danger should regular tap water become unreliable a la Walkerton.

August Inductees
David Miller & Toronto Council -- Caving in to a militant union and general abuse of Toronto citizens. These corrupt councillors need to be roped in before the city finally falls apart.

Scottish Government -- For releasing a convicted, unrepentant mass murderer on "compassionate grounds".

Expert Panels -- Experts who say nothing useful

Milton Tornado -- For damaging buildings on the wrong side of town! I sure would have liked to have seen some Mc(Guinty) Mansions mowed down.

UK Parliament -- The fall of an empire through corruption, greed, and incompetence. Also bending over backwards to Arab interests at the expense of their own peoples'.

Idiots Hall of Shame: April & May

We had a lot of idiots for these two months so I'm archiving them early to make more room.

May Inductees
John Lennon & Yoko Ono -- Special lifetime award on the 40th anniversary of their Montreal bed-in for peace. I'm still puzzled as to how they thought lying in bed for a week was going to stop the Vietnam War.

Ruby Dhallah -- claims allegations of abusing live-in caregivers is a Tory conspiracy against here, despite lack of proof. Gives Garth a run for his money.

CTV -- Attempting to screw consumers by trying to force extra fees on cable customers who receive network stations because it bought too many assets that it could not afford. Blackmailing the CRTC and attempting to brainwash the public.

Elizabeth May -- Funny how the only goal of her plan to enhance democracy seems to be getting herself a guaranteed seat in parliament. No conflict of interest there.

PETA -- Would rather let humans starve just to protect cute seal pups.

April Inductees
Harmid Karzai -- Tried to legalize spousal rape in Afghanistan to cajole the Taliban and Al Qaeda

G20 Protesters in London -- How is beating cops going to fix the economy again? I think we should ask North Koreans how well that whole communism thing is going.

Ken Lewenza -- CAW president thinks Ontario taxpayers are morally obligated to pay his huge union pensions when so many other retirees are living on less and less. Talk about a culture of entitlement. He'd do the Liberals proud.

Milton Canadian Champion -- Local newspaper that insulted me by refusing to publish my letter, publically stating that I was basically lying. Incompetent at best, in bed with developers at worst.

Milton Town Council -- Ignoring their constituents in old Milton

First Capital Development -- Building a giant mall that nobody wants or needs, creating noise, air, and light pollution in the middle of a residential area.

Ontario Municipal Board -- For making decisions undemocratically, rubber-stamping development projects without any knowledge of the community and never asking for their concerns.

The Entertainment Industry -- For turning copyright law into an absolute farce.

Tamil-Canadians -- For trying to get Canada involved in a war it has no business being involved in, and for openly supporting an internationally recognized terror group.

Janet Napolitano -- US Homeland Security Secretary within the Obama administration. Falsely accused Canada of allowing terrorists to entre into the US.

Garth Turner -- Honorary lifetime inductee. Betrayed his voters, makes offensives comments, and paranoid statements. In regards to the latter and in all seriousness, I think he may have a mental illness and needs to seek help.

Steven Harper -- Bailing out Chrysler. Yeah, like we'll ever see that money again. Isn't he supposed to be an economic conservative?

Barack Obama -- Failed his first 100 days by wussifying America. Bailed out the automakers and partially nationalized Chrysler. Three international incidents started with Canada by people under his watch... plus all that sleezy stuff he did during the election. Far too much to cover for this section.

Idiots Hall of Shame: First Quarter 2009

Alright, I may or may not have stolen, err, borrowed the idea from Toronto radio host Bill Caroll. This is a list of people and organizations in politics who I think have done outright stupid things. The list is on the sidebar but after four months of it, it's starting to outgrow that format. However, I want to keep it stickied. So instead, I'm just going to keep them up for one three month quarter then archive them. The older ones will still be linked in the side bar but this should neaten things up a bit. January to March 2009 is below.

March Inductees
Mainstream Liberals -- For not being outraged by antisemitic comments by fellow liberals such as Syd Ryan and York University's student body

Warren Buffett -- For being a scared idiot and enduing needless panic in the markets.

CAW -- For thinking a wage freeze is a major concession.

David Dodge -- Ex-Bank of Canada Gov. More Buffett style phony fear mongering about the economy.

George Galloway -- British MP denied entry to Canada. An arrogant, corrupt, criminal, communist, antisemite. Need I say more.

Greg Gutfeld -- For insulting Canadian troops and being a general douche bag.

Dalton McGuinty -- Ontario Premier. Too many reasons to list here.

February Inductees
Barack Obama -- For nearly starting a trade war less than two weeks into his term.

York U TAs -- for being greedy, violent, and robbing students of an education

Ontario Municipalities -- for spending other people's money like water with no accountability

CRTC -- For thinking it can regulate the Internet

North American Druggies -- For destroying Mexico

NASA -- could have fed 4 billion people with money it wasted on CO2 hunting satellite

January Inductees

Howard Hampton -- For abandoning University Students, one of his biggest constituencies.

Erik Millet -- NB School Principal for banning Oh Canada

Google -- For not fixing Blogger's italics/bold problem
